🍷 WineFest at St. Michaels: Celebrating 17 Years of Community and Exceptional Wines
St. Michaels has a long-standing tradition of community spirit, and for 17 years, WineFest at St. Michaels has been a cornerstone of that celebration. Since 2010, we’ve proudly organized this event, blending world-class wines with the charm and hospitality of our town. Managed by a charitable organization, WineFest gives back to communities on both sides of the Chesapeake Bay, supporting multiple local charities each year. Giving back isn’t just a part of what we do—it’s at the heart of our mission.
From VIP-Only Back to a Town-Wide Celebration
WineFest began as a town-wide celebration, inviting visitors to explore great wines and delicious foods throughout St. Michaels. Between 2020 and 2024, pandemic restrictions required the event to shift to a single-location, VIP-only experience, limiting our ability to welcome large crowds and volunteers.
But in 2025, WineFest returned to its full vision. The event once again transforms St. Michaels into a walkable tasting experience, using both licensed venues and non-licensed shops to host Maryland wineries for the weekend.
