On October 2–3, 2026, Easton’s Fall Kickoff officially welcomes the season with a weekend filled with pumpkins, music, shopping, food, art, and plenty of small-town charm.
Downtown Easton comes alive as local businesses decorate storefronts with giant pumpkins, creating a festive pumpkin trail that winds through the historic town center. Each pumpkin is uniquely carved or decorated, making the stroll through downtown just as much an experience as the destination.
A Friday Night Full of Fall Fun
Friday evening kicks off the weekend with live music, outdoor entertainment, and plenty of reasons to stay downtown. The Quinn Parsley Trio and DJ E Shore will perform from 4–7 p.m., while Cascading Carlos brings his juggling talents to Thompson Park from 5–7 p.m.
It’s also First Friday Gallery Walk, giving visitors the chance to explore Easton’s galleries, shops, and vibrant local art scene. For families, the Academy Art Museum will host pumpkin decorating from 4–7 p.m., followed by a free outdoor showing of Hotel Transylvania after dark. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a movie under the stars.
And, of course, downtown restaurants and retailers will be joining in with seasonal specials, tastings, shopping events, and live entertainment throughout the evening. With roughly 80 shopping, dining, and entertainment venues in downtown Easton, there is plenty to explore.
Saturday Keeps the Celebration Going
The fall fun continues Saturday with live music, family activities, pumpkin decorating, local artisans, and more.
The Academy Art Museum will host pumpkin decorating and glassblowing demonstrations, while the Talbot County Free Library will offer free fall-themed activities for children. Thompson Park will once again feature Cascading Carlos, this time from noon to 4 p.m.
For those who love local art and handmade goods, the Easton Fall Craft Fair at Trinity Cathedral is another Saturday highlight. More than 30 local artisans will showcase jewelry, pottery, artwork, woodwork, apparel, and other handmade pieces from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
